Moly IPTV on TiviMate: Setup Guide for the TiviMate App

The TiviMate IPTV app is the one many live-TV fans install first on a new Android TV box or Firestick, and it's one of the two players we suggest for Moly IPTV on those devices. Its big strength is a TV guide that looks and feels like a cable box. In this guide you'll learn which devices TiviMate runs on, how to install it, how to add your Xtream Codes login, and what the free version and TiviMate Premium each give you.
What is the TiviMate IPTV app?
TiviMate is an IPTV player built for TV screens. Like every legitimate IPTV app, it comes empty: no channels, no movies, no series. You add a playlist or login from your provider, and TiviMate turns it into a channel list and a program guide.
TiviMate is an independent third-party app. Moly IPTV doesn't make it, isn't affiliated with its developer and doesn't sell TiviMate Premium. If a menu looks different from what we describe here, that's because the app changes between versions — the general steps stay the same.
What sets it apart from other players is the layout. Instead of a menu of tiles, TiviMate opens straight into live TV with a grid guide along the bottom or side of the screen. You scroll through channels and time slots with the remote, just like on a cable or satellite box. If you mostly watch live channels, that's hard to beat.
Which devices can run TiviMate?
TiviMate is designed for Android TV, and that's where it works best:
- Android TV boxes and TVs with Android TV / Google TV — usually available from the Google Play Store on the device.
- Amazon Firestick and Fire TV — these run Fire OS, which is based on Android, so TiviMate works on them too. It's usually installed with the Downloader app rather than from the Amazon Appstore.
- Android phones and tablets — TiviMate is made for TV screens; on phones it may not be offered or may not be practical. IPTV Smarters Pro is the better choice there.
- Roku, Samsung and LG smart TVs — these run their own systems (Roku OS, Tizen and webOS), not Android, so TiviMate can't be installed on them. Plugging a Firestick or Android TV box into the TV is the simplest workaround.
- iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac — TiviMate isn't available. For these devices we suggest IPTVX or Smarters Player Lite on iOS, and VLC or MyIPTV Player on a computer.
How to install TiviMate on Firestick and Android TV
On Android TV, Google TV or an Android box
Open the Google Play Store on the device, search for "TiviMate", check that the developer name matches the app's real developer, and install it. That's all.
TiviMate on Firestick with Downloader
- Install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore.
- Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and allow Downloader to install apps ("Install unknown apps" or "Apps from Unknown Sources", depending on your software version). If Developer Options is missing, open About in the same menu and select your device name about seven times to unhide it.
- In Downloader, enter the download address published on the app's official website and install the file.
Apps installed this way don't update through the Amazon Appstore. To update TiviMate on Firestick, get the newer version from the official website the same way and install it over the existing app. Our IPTV Firestick guide explains each of these screens in more detail. Whatever device you use, skip "modded" or "premium unlocked" TiviMate downloads from random websites — they can carry malware, and you'll be entering your login details into them.
Adding your Moly IPTV playlist to TiviMate
After you order a plan, your Moly IPTV login details arrive by email, usually within 10 to 45 minutes; check your spam folder too. You'll get an Xtream Codes API login: a username, a password and a portal URL. Then:
- Open TiviMate and select Add playlist.
- Choose Xtream Codes as the playlist type.
- Enter the server address — that's the portal URL from your email, including
http://orhttps://and the port number if one is shown. - Enter your username and password exactly as written. Both are case-sensitive.
- Select Next. TiviMate checks the login and shows how many channels, movies and series it found.
- Give the playlist a name, such as "Moly IPTV", and select Done.
TiviMate then loads the channel list and the TV guide. Moly IPTV includes a full EPG with the login, so you normally don't need to add a separate guide source; the first download can take a few minutes because the guide covers a lot of channels.
If you're stuck at this step, the troubleshooting section below covers the usual causes.
TiviMate free vs TiviMate Premium
TiviMate has a free version and a paid upgrade called TiviMate Premium. Premium is bought from the app's developer — usually through its companion app on a phone — not from your IPTV provider. Prices and the exact feature split change over time, so check the current details in the app before you buy.
| Free version | TiviMate Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| Live TV and TV guide | Yes | Yes |
| Number of playlists | Limited | Multiple |
| Favorites and channel management | Basic | More options |
| Extra features such as recording or reminders | No | Typically included |
| Who sells it | — | The app's developer |
For many people the free version is enough to watch Moly IPTV live channels with the guide. Premium is worth considering if you want more control over your channel list or the extra features. Either way, your Moly IPTV plan stays the same; the upgrade only changes the app.
Tips for using Moly IPTV with TiviMate
- Hide the categories you don't watch. With 33,000+ channels from the US, the UK, Canada, Europe and the Middle East, the full list is long. In most versions you can hide whole groups from the playlist or channel settings, which makes the guide much easier to scroll.
- Build a favorites list. Add the channels you watch every day so they open first.
- Use the on-demand sections. Your Moly IPTV login also includes 500,000+ movies and series, updated daily. TiviMate shows them in its own movies and series areas, though fans of large libraries often prefer the tile layout of IPTV Smarters Pro.
- Update the guide manually if program information looks out of date — there's usually an "Update EPG" option in the settings.
- Give the device a good connection. We recommend 10 Mbps or more, on 5 GHz Wi-Fi or Ethernet. For 4K channels you also need a 4K device and TV; see our IPTV 4K guide.
- Consider a VPN. A VPN isn't required for Moly IPTV, but we recommend one for privacy and to avoid possible restrictions from your internet provider. Our VPN guide covers how to choose one.
TiviMate not working on Firestick? Quick fixes
- "Can't connect" when adding the playlist. Check the server address first: a missing
http://, a wrong port or a typo in the username is the cause almost every time. - Channels load, but streams buffer. Moly IPTV uses anti-freeze technology, but most buffering starts at home. Test the speed on the stick itself, switch to 5 GHz Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and restart the device.
- The guide is empty. Wait a few minutes after the first login, then use the update EPG option.
- The app crashes or freezes. Clear its cache under Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications, free up storage, and make sure you're on the latest version.
- Still stuck? Our setup guide covers every device, and Moly IPTV support is available 24/7 on WhatsApp.
TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro?
Both apps accept the Xtream Codes login that Moly IPTV provides, so you can try each and keep the one you like. As a rule of thumb: choose TiviMate if live TV and the program guide are the center of your evening; choose IPTV Smarters Pro if you spend most of your time in movies and series, or if you watch on a phone or iPhone, where TiviMate isn't an option.
Moly IPTV on TiviMate: final thoughts
TiviMate turns Moly IPTV into something that feels like a classic cable box: open the app and you're watching live TV, with a full guide a button press away. Install the TiviMate player from an official source, add your Xtream Codes playlist, let the EPG load, and tidy up the channel list to suit you.
Ready to start? Compare the Moly IPTV subscription plans — every plan includes the same channels and library, starting with 1 month for $19.99 — or go to the free trial page and ask on WhatsApp whether a free trial is available right now.
FAQ
Is TiviMate free?
TiviMate has a free version with live TV and a TV guide. Some features need TiviMate Premium, a paid upgrade sold by the app's developer. Neither version includes channels — you add those with a subscription such as Moly IPTV.
How do I add a playlist to TiviMate on Firestick?
Select "Add playlist", choose "Xtream Codes", and enter the server address (portal URL), username and password from your provider. Select "Next", name the playlist and select "Done".
Can I install TiviMate on Roku?
No. Roku devices don't run Android apps, so TiviMate isn't available there. The same goes for Samsung and LG smart TVs. A Firestick or Android TV box plugged into the TV lets you use TiviMate anyway.
How do I update TiviMate on Firestick?
If you installed it with Downloader, download the newer version from the official website and install it over the old one. If it came from an app store, update it there.
Does TiviMate work on iPhone?
No, TiviMate is made for Android TV and isn't available on iPhone or iPad. On iOS, apps such as IPTVX or Smarters Player Lite work with the same Xtream Codes login.
Why is TiviMate not working on Firestick?
Usually the server address, username or password is wrong — check for a missing http://, a wrong port or a typo. If the login is accepted but nothing plays, test your connection and restart the device, then contact your provider's support.
